Amrister, Golden Temple and crossing of teh borders between India and Pakistan

An early call to the bus station was only made worse when an hour after going to sleep Ollie was chundering all over the doorway of our bedroom!  What little sleep we had we hoped we could have made up for it on the bus........ but roads in india dont let you do this!!

Our next stop was Amritsar to see the golden temple and the crossing of the borders between Pakistan and India!  Which was amazing, it reminded me of the ministry of funny walks!!

this was the final resting spot of our beloved boatyard flag. i tied it up for a morning photo shot and forgot to  take it down. so it rest 3500 meters up in the Himalayas. not a bad pot to end up.. perhaps dick can get us another one for the rest of our journey.

temples are sweet, and also in the hard spots to get to. the reason behind putting temples on mountains is that they are closer to the gods and their preys can be reached easier.
the crew, again the mountain behind is the one we climbed the previous day. inderhal pass or something like that
hard to see but if u look along the tree line were it tuns to rock and no trees there is a little thing pocking out that's the temple we slept at
Mcloud Ganj, home to the deli lama and thousands of Tibetan refuges and us for a couple days. beautiful place
why not pick up a goat.??? i wasn't here for this but i think some locals insisted that they held the goat. lol
and charlie counldn't let chris get all the glory
Day 1- finally made it to our first resting spot (snow line), we were meant to walk another hour or 2 past this point but, were so cold we had to stop. as soon as we got in and got smothered in blankets a massive hail storm began.
 yeaaahhhhhh goats.......
